Mathieu Charbonneau and Pietro Amato are both incredible musicians, each with an impressive body of work across genres and formats – albums, collaborations, film scores and live shows. The two have worked together in various bands and projects for several years, including The Luyas, Bell Orchestre, Amon Tobin and Plants and Animals, amongst many others. As a synth duo, they released recently their second album,
Synth Works Vol. 2, a sublime, spacious and immersive record incorporating elements of 70s kosmische and environmental music. We’re thrilled to start May with a beautiful mix of tracks picked by Charbonneau and Amato that explores the influences that have shaped their own exquisite work.
