Dirty Projectors‘ sixth album, Swing Lo Magellan, is only a couple of weeks away from being released. The band has unveiled a new cut from the album, ‘Dance For You’, embedded below.

Songwriter and leader David Longstreth describes Swing Lo Magellan, produced and mixed by himself, as “an album of songs, an album of songwriting”.

According to the issued press release, “the album is a collection of moments: accidental, fortuitous, spontaneous. The performances feel warm and imperfect. The album has both the handmade intimacy of a love letter and the widescreen grandeur of a blockbuster, and if that sounds like a paradox – it’s because it was until now.”

Swing Lo Magellan drops on July 10th in the US and the day before internationally via Domino.
