Olde Worlde announces fourth album The Blue Musk-Oxen

Olde Worlde - Stuck In Hibernation

Tokyo based multi-instrumentalist Sohhei Numata, the man behind Olde Worlde, has three full-length albums under his belt, all released solely in his native Japan. Olde Worlde’s fourth album, The Blue Musk-Oxen, has been announced and it marks his first worldwide release with the record set to be released in the UK on September 1st and in the US on October 6th.
The Blue Musk-Oxen was recorded, mixed and produced last year in Los Angeles with Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Pete Yorn, Ben Lee, Sunny Day Real Estate, Tortoise, Liz Phair) on production duties.
“It’s a perfectly schizophrenic album – sometimes acoustic, sometimes beat laden – but is 100% focused on utilizing the innocent, yearning vocals of Olde Worlde to drive each track.”, describes the album’s blurb. “The result is perfectly serene mood music for moog people.”
