Three years from the release of Rispah, The Invisible are teasing their third album. The London trio have shared ‘Easy Now’, a funky new track recorded during the sessions for the upcoming album. Speaking about the track, frontman Dave Okumu said the following:
“George Clinton once said, “funk is anything you need it to be to save your life”. We have always agreed. Serenading the unseen has become easier now.”

London trio The Invisible, a longtime favourite of ours, are re-releasing their outstanding self-titled debut album on February 25th via Accidental Records.
Other than the songs featured in the original album, the upcoming release will feature remixes from Matthew Herbert, Micachu, Kwes and Hot Chip and a bonus brand new track called ‘Into Me’. Stream it below and grab a free download of another excellent track off the album, ‘Constant’. Enjoy.
‘Generational’ is the new single from London trio The Invisible, taken from their somophore album Rispah released earlier in the year via Ninja Tune.
The single will be out on Monday and it features a fifteen minute remix from Theo Parrish and a cover of ‘The Wall’ by Anna Calvi.
Coinciding with the release, The Invisible debuted a video, directed by Th13teen, to accompany ‘Generational’. Watch it beneath and straight after listen to Anna Calvi’s cover of ‘The Wall’.
London trio The Invisible announced today the release of their somophore album, due out later in the year.
The yet-to-be-titled album is the follow up to their 2009’s critically acclaimed debut eponymous album released via Matthew Herbert’s label, Accidental Records. Matthew Herbert also stepped in to produce the album.
The first single from the upcoming album is called ‘Protection’ and is now streaming on The Quietus’ soundcloud page.
‘Protection’ will be released as a limited 12″ vinyl on March 26th and it features a remix of the same track by Warp signing Kwes.
