More details have now emerged about the effort, which marks the Congolese collective&#8217;s first full-length album in six years, following 2010&#8217;s <em>Assume Crash Position<\/em>. Entitled <em>Konono No\u00b0 1 Meets Batida<\/em>, the forthcoming album was recorded in Lisbon in early 2015 with Angolan\/Portuguese musician <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/batida\/\" target=\"_blank\">Batida<\/a> aka Pedro Coquen\u00e3o. The record also features guitarist Papa Juju, vocalist Selma Uamusse, and slam poet MC AF Diaphra and it&#8217;s due out on April 1st through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crammed.be\/\" target=\"_blank\">Crammed Discs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahead of the album&#8217;s release, Konono N\u00b01 have shared the first taste of the album, the hot &#8216;Nlele Kalusimbiko&#8217;.
