We\u2019re over the moon to know that Oiseaux-Temp\u00eate<\/a> are ready to dazzle us again with a new album release, following last year\u2019s monumental live album TARAB \u0637\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0628\u064c<\/em>\u00a0and 2017\u00b4s sublime AL-\u2018AN ! \u0627\u0644\u0622\u0646 (And your night is your shadow \u2014 a fairy-tale piece of land to make our dreams)<\/em>, which was one of our\u00a0Album Picks of the Year<\/a>. Entitled From Somewhere Invisible<\/em>, it marks their fourth\u00a0studio album and finds the duo of multi-instrumentalists Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric D. Oberland and St\u00e9phane\u00a0Pigneul accompanied by longtime collaborators Jean-Michel Pir\u00e8s (Bruit Noir), Mondkopf and G.W.Sok (The Ex). Recorded\u00a0at Montreal\u2019s Hotel2Tango, their upcoming album also features contributions from\u00a0Radwan Ghazi Moumneh and Jessica Moss.<\/p>\n

The record “summons the fever of experimentation and the powerful sound of the game coming together in the service of a luxuriant and psychedelic drift”, as the press release describes. “Synthetic\u00a0brass meets hammered rhythms, string electrics with cracked electronics, saxophone cries and laughter at a pulsing and seminal bass.”<\/p>\n

From Somewhere Invisible<\/em> arrives on October 18th through Sub Rosa<\/a> but we can already wrap our ears around the intense and\u00a0compelling ‘Weird Dancing In All-Night II’.<\/p>\n
