The release compiles Schmidt\u2019s solo and soundtrack work, with the first part being a collection of his solo work over the past 30 years. The second half, curated by long-term collaborator Wim Wenders, compiles Schmidt\u2019s film and television soundtrack work and also features two Can remixes, \u2018Alice\u2019 and \u2018Last Night Sleep\u2019. <em>Villa Wunderbar<\/em>, previously only available on CD, will be released as a four-piece vinyl box set on November 22nd, with his latest work \u2018Klavierst\u00fcck V\u2019 included as a bonus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Villa Wunderbar<\/em> is an absolute treat and you can hear it for yourself with this selection of six very different and very excellent tracks.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/playlists\/9554559&amp;color=%23c41709&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;show_teaser=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In other good news, Schmidt has announced three rare live solo dates in the UK and Europe, including an appearance at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival on November 21st, that will see him perform the worldwide premiere of two unheard compositions and the UK premiere of \u201cKlavierst\u00fcck II\u201d.
