Clark<\/a>‘s sixth full-length album Iradelphic<\/em> is due out in less than a month. Following first singles ‘Com Touch’<\/a> and ‘The Pining pt2’, ‘Secret’ is the third cut from the album to emerge. The new track features the sweet and hazy vocals of Martina Topley-Bird<\/a> and is by far the most acoustic effort from the electronic veteran producer..<\/p>\n

Here’s what Clark said about his collaboration with Martina:<\/p>\n

\u201cI’ve wanted to get Martina on a track for a while now, but really wanted a proper hook\/melody and set of lyrics for her to sing, rather then doing that clich\u00e9 producer thing of going \u2018sexy female vocals chopped up over fat masculine beats,\u2019. I mean, there is nothing wrong with that, but you can’t use someone of Martina’s awesome talent flippantly. I didn’t want it to be decorative. I wanted it to be her and me, together on something.”<\/p>\n

Recorded in Australia, Berlin, Wales, Brussels, Cornwall, Norway and London, Iradelphic<\/em> drops on April 2nd in the UK and a day later in the US via Warp Records<\/a>. Pre-order is now available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
