After more than a decade with his trio, celebrated and talented pianist and composer Neil Cowley<\/a> embarked on a solo career in 2019 embracing new technology and skillfully merging elements of ambient, electronic, improvisational and contemporary classical music. Last year Cowley spent four days in the studio with production duo Jacana People<\/a> and these sessions gave rise to Myna Cycles, their new collaborative project bringing their disparate musical elements together in one glorious triumph. Under the same name, they are releasing their debut EP on August 12th through Cross Country<\/a> and they are teasing it now with the first single ‘Tundra’. Take a listen below.<\/p>\n
