Entitled <em>Voda<\/em>, which means water in Russian, the album sprouted from <em>Voda-Eau-Water<\/em>, a collaborative performance piece by Russian\/Ukrainian choreographer Nika Stein exploring themes of mortality and vitality and how it is depicted by human\u2019s relationship to water. As the press release describes, &#8220;these conjoined realities are told through symbols drawn from Russian myth and poetry: a peasant woman washing her clothes in a river, an immortal water nymph encountering the concept of death; a dripping wet cave, a spa, a swamp, the abyss. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unlike her previous record, where the harp was the core instrument, on the upcoming album Pag\u00e9 brings to the fore new instruments including bass, cello, violin, koto, electronics, oak branches, water bowls and waterphone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While a release date hasn&#8217;t yet been set, Pag\u00e9 is already enticing us with the first single, the gripping and enveloping &#8216;M\u00e9duses&#8217;.
