It’s been too long since Get The Blessing<\/a> released new music but we can rejoice for they are back with a new record entitled Pallett<\/em>. Long awaited, their seventh studio album arrives on October 20th and the Bristolian quartet describe it as a “organic eco-paint mixture of hypnotic long-form minimalism, playful rhythms, and unusual textures”. Beholden to no genre, Pallett<\/em> sprung from improvisations between Jake McMurchie, Pete Judge, and Jim Barr during the lockdown periods, with Clive Deamer later adding drums at his home in Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n

To herald the release of Pallett<\/em>, Get The Blessing have shared the album\u2019s groovy, intoxicating and monumental opener, ‘Oscillation ochre’, a track you’ll want to keep on repeat. The single comes paired with a video made by Charlie Romijn, featuring footage by the band. Check it out below.<\/p>\n
