Marking their milestone 20th studio release, as well as their 39th year together, the upcoming <em>Disquiet<\/em> spans more than three hours of vast, absorbing, textural and quietly electrifying sound. According to the press release, the album\u00a0finds Tony Buck, Chris Abrahams, and Lloyd Swanton \u201cpushing at the outer edges of their collective intuition, building and unraveling hypnotic structures with microscopic focus\u201d. The four extended pieces on <em>Disquiet<\/em> were &#8220;meticulously recorded and sculpted&#8221; to explore texture, space, and subtle shifts in mood and rhythm. There\u2019s no set order for listening, just three discs of open and immersive music inviting listeners to experience the music in any order.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We&#8217;ll have to wait until October 10th for the album to drop through\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/northernspyrecs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northern Spy<\/a> but we can already hear the transcendent &#8216;Causeway&#8217;, clocking in at 26 minutes.
