Violinist Sara Font\u00e1n and drummer\/electronic shapeshifter Edi Pou (ZA!), who make up the project, operate outside industry norms, with their practice built around DIY ethics, long-term collaboration, and community infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The pair had already unveiled two <a href=\"https:\/\/castthedice.org\/?p=23602\">singles<\/a> from the record, first \u2018Creer Fuerte\u2019, a tense and physical opening statement, followed by \u2018Elektra\u2019, a spiralling and off-kilter drum\u2019n\u2019bass track. With a month to go until <em>Consuelo<\/em> is out, they have today shared a third single from the album, the striking and stirring \u2018Megalod\u00f3n 2\u2019. The piece is inspired by a 17\/8 rhythm (Ika\u2019 Khosh Rang) from Arabic classical music developed in medieval southern Spain, which Los Sara Font\u00e1n shaped their own way.
