Dirty Projectors<\/a>‘ sixth album, Swing Lo Magellan<\/em>, is only a couple of weeks away from being released. The band has unveiled a new cut from the album, ‘Dance For You’, embedded below.<\/p>\n

Songwriter and leader David Longstreth describes Swing Lo Magellan<\/em>, produced and mixed by himself, as “an album of songs, an album of songwriting”.<\/p>\n

According to the issued press release, “the album is a collection of moments: accidental, fortuitous, spontaneous. The performances feel warm and imperfect. The album has both the handmade intimacy of a love letter and the widescreen grandeur of a blockbuster, and if that sounds like a paradox – it’s because it was until now.”<\/p>\n

Swing Lo Magellan<\/em> drops on July 10th in the US and the day before internationally via Domino<\/a>.<\/p>\n
