‘Brats’ will be the second single lifted from Liars<\/a>‘s sixth studio album, WIXIW<\/em>, released last month via Mute<\/a>. The new single will be released on 12″ and digitally on October 15th in Europe and a day later in the US.<\/p>\n

Ahead of it, the threesome have just premiered an animated video \u00e0 la ‘Looney Tunes’, directed by Ian Cheng<\/a>.
\nLiars’ singer and guitarist Angus Andrew said he was “intrigued by Ian Cheng\u2019s ability to re-imagine computer graphics that are as awkward and out of control as real life.” He added that “it\u2019s unusual to see computer-animated, digital bodies with flaws that breathe, pulse, and bear traces of their imperfect analog origin and I\u2019m honored that we could provide the inspiration for this very unique vision.\u201d
