A 2024 Music Producers &amp; Engineers&#8217; Guild of Australia Award nominee for Self-Producing Artist of the Year, Webb has built a reputation for taking an adventurous approach to composition and production. He has unveiled a brand new track, &#8216;Hungry Ghosts&#8217;, an energetic instrumental that blends psychedelic jazz-rock, daring improvisation and a driving groove. To bring &#8216;Hungry Ghosts&#8217; to life, Webb assembled an impressive cast of musicians, including drummer Clive Deamer (Radiohead, Portishead), keyboardist Dennis Hamm (Thundercat) and guitarist Bob Lanzetti (Snarky Puppy). The track is inspired by Webb&#8217;s move from Melbourne to Singapore in 2023 and takes its title from Singapore&#8217;s annual Hungry Ghost Festival. Drawing on the festival&#8217;s themes, &#8216;Hungry Ghosts&#8217; reflects the experience of leaving one chapter behind and adapting to life in a new environment. &#8220;&#8216;Hungry Ghosts&#8217; became a meditation on leaving one life behind and stepping into another,&#8221; Webb explains. &#8220;The festival is rooted in rituals of remembrance, wandering spirits, and the space between worlds, which mirrored my own psychological experience of relocating and rebuilding.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accompanying the single release is a striking and vibrant music video created entirely by Webb using his own <a href=\"https:\/\/webbwarp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Webb Warp<\/a>, a free, synesthetic browser-based audiovisual platform, which lets users transform music into reactive 3D visuals in real time.
