\"\"It’s been a decade since Canadian post-rock veterans\u00a0Godspeed You! Black Emperor released Yanqui U.X.O.<\/em>. Soon after the album release, the band went on hiatus, which they’ve ended in 2010 when they got back together to play live and they’ve been on tour since.<\/p>\n

Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced the release of Allelujah<\/em>! Don’t Bend<\/em>! Ascend<\/em>!, the first new album since 2002. ‘Allelujah<\/em>! Don’t Bend<\/em>! Ascend<\/em>! drops on October 15th in Europe and the following day in the rest of the world, via Constellation Records<\/a>. If you are lucky enough to go to one of the shows from their American tour, you can grab the album there.<\/p>\n

According to the label,\u00a0Allelujah<\/em>! Don’t Bend<\/em>! Ascend<\/em>!\u00a0 features two twenty-minute slabs of epic instrumental rock music and two six-and-a-half minute drones.<\/p>\n

The release date can’t come soon enough. Whilst we wait to hear their new material, here’s ‘motherfucker=redeemer (pt.2)’,\u00a0 the epic closing track from Yanqui U.X.O.<\/em>.
