Deerhoof<\/a> released their eleventh studio album, Breakup Song<\/em>, early in September via ATP Recordings<\/a> and Polyvinyl<\/a>. Fresh on the heels of that release, they have just started a European tour. Head over here<\/a> to check all their stops.<\/p>\n

Coinciding with the tour, the quartet have a new double A-side EP, ‘Mario’s Flaming Whiskers III’ \/ ‘There’s That Grin’. The EP is out today digitally, and a limited tape edition arrives on December 3rd via ATP Recordings.
\nOther than the two excellent tracks lifted from Breakup Song<\/em>, the EP features a brand new track called ‘Just For That’, a live cover of Velvet Underground’s ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’ and a Silver Apples remix of ‘Mario’s Flaming Dessert’.<\/p>\n

Deerhoof are also offering a fittingly festive and mad video to compliment ‘Mario’s Flaming Whiskers III’. Richard Huntington Swanson directed it and you can watch it below.<\/p>\n
