Entitled <em>Rave Tapes<\/em>, the effort was created this past summer in Mogwai\u2019s Castle Of Doom studio in Glasgow. The album arrives on January 20th in the Europe via the band&#8217;s own <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rock-action.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rock Action<\/a> and the following day in North America via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.subpop.com\" target=\"_blank\">Sub Pop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The issued press release describes <em>Rave Tapes<\/em> as &#8220;a lustrous collection mined from the same quarry as its predecessors, wreathed in painterly textures underpinned by increasingly electronic beats&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ahead of the release, Mogwai have just shared a new track from the album, &#8216;The Lord is Out of Control&#8217;. It comes with an accompanying video directed by Antony Crook and shot on location in Hawaii.
