Stars Of The Lid’s Adam Wiltzie and pianist and composer Dustin O\u2019Halloran are back with their majestic collaborative project A Winged Victory For The Sullen<\/a>. The pair have announced the release of Atomos<\/em>, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2011 eponymous debut album. Atomos<\/em> also serves as the score for choreographer Wayne McGregor’s dance production of the same name.
\nThe first taste of Atomos,<\/em> due out later in the year, will arrive on April 28th in the form of a limited edition 12\u201d EP, Atomos VII<\/em>, via Erased Tapes<\/a> and Kranky<\/a>. Other than the immensely beautiful and moving title track taken from their forthcoming album, the EP also features a reinterpretation of ‘Atomos VII’ by pianist Ben Frost and an outtake recorded during their debut album sessions.
