It’s a great summery Friday and Marco Benevento<\/a>‘s new single ‘At The Show’ is the jiggiest track we could wish for. ‘At The Show’ is the first cut lifted from the crafted multi-instrumentalist’s upcoming album Swift<\/em>. The album, set for release on September 16th via Royal Potato Family,<\/a> was produced by Richard Swift (Shins, Damien Jurado, Foxygen) and features Benevento’s frequent collaborators Dave Drewitz on bass (Ween) and Andy Borger on drums (Tom Waits, Norah Jones). With Swift<\/em>, Benevento ventures into singing for the first time ever, and he wrote the lyrics as well. \u201cI never really liked the sound of my singing voice. I have a low voice. I can\u2019t really sing too high. It\u2019s nasally,\u201d said Benevento. \u201cBut I had to get over it. And now, singing is awesome.\u201d
