Avec Le Soleil Sortant De Sa Bouche's 2014 glorious debut album wrapped together two mammoth-length jams into an exhilarating and infectious release. The Montreal based quartet's second outing, which came out earlier this year, is a dazzling experiment in kraut-funk goodness, packed with hypnotic and blistering grooves. And since we can't take our ears off both albums, we just had to ask the band to put together a mixtape for us!

Avec Le Soleil Sortant De Sa Bouche set to release second album Pas pire pop, I Love You So Much in January

Avec le soleil sortant de sa bouche - Pas pire pop, I Love You So MuchNew releases from artists on Constellation Records are always welcomed with huge anticipation and excitement, and that couldn’t be more the case with the just announced new album from Avec Le Soleil Sortant De Sa Bouche. Pas pire pop, I Love You So Much follows their 2014 glorious debut album Zubberdust! and it will hit stores on January 20th.
On their upcoming record, and as the album’s blurb describes, the Montreal quartet “deploys a panoply of buoyant musical ideas, subtly sumptuous sonic treatments, and joyous stylistic nods — while remaining fundamentally devoted to working the groove, from however many angles.”

Avec Le Soleil Sortant De Sa Bouche have shared the album’s excellent and electrifying first single, ‘Alizé et Margaret D. Midi moins le quart. Sur la plage, un palmier ensanglanté. II’ and it makes us really look forward to the album.

In other related good news, and to celebrate the album’s release, the foursome are embarking on 4-week long European tour, kicking off in Hamburg on February 13th. We’re keeping our fingers tightly crossed for some UK dates to be added.

Avec Le Soleil Sortant De Sa Bouche’s fans in Europe can rejoice for they will be winging their way across the Atlantic to grace us with their experimental kraut-funk goodness. With a string of dates beginning in early November, including a London show on November 22nd at Birthdays, this will be first visit to the UK/Europe.

The Montreal based quartet released their debut album Zubberdust! last year, a glorious effort featuring two mind-blowing 20-minute pieces. “This is (mostly) instrumental rock that exuberantly succeeds in blending a primitivist, hypnotic energy with cerebral pleasures, seeding an addictive trail of sonic brain-candy throughout the mixes”, described the album’s blurb.
