Last month Malcolm Pardon announced the release of his new solo album, The Abyss, and shared the gentle and melancholic ‘Enter The Void’. Now the Swedish composer and producer is teasing the album again with a gorgeous and cinematic second single called ‘Patchwork’. “The idea behind ‘Patchwork’ was the thought of creating something out of nothing,” Pardon explained. “Starting off with a very static bass line that really doesn’t tell you much about where you are heading, it slowly evolves and develops into a shape and form which takes you onto different paths and leads you forward. Like a reflection of a life cycle, if you will.”
