It’s been too long since Get The Blessing released new music but we can rejoice for they are back with a new record entitled Pallett. Long awaited, their seventh studio album arrives on October 20th and the Bristolian quartet describe it as a “organic eco-paint mixture of hypnotic long-form minimalism, playful rhythms, and unusual textures”. Beholden to no genre, Pallett sprung from improvisations between Jake McMurchie, Pete Judge, and Jim Barr during the lockdown periods, with Clive Deamer later adding drums at his home in Oxfordshire.
To herald the release of Pallett, Get The Blessing have shared the album’s groovy, intoxicating and monumental opener, ‘Oscillation ochre’, a track you’ll want to keep on repeat. The single comes paired with a video made by Charlie Romijn, featuring footage by the band. Check it out below.
