Since two years ago, when his ensemble The Meets got into our 2013 Album Picks with the outstanding It Happens Outside, until now, a few days before the debut release of his avant-electronica collaborative outfit Stage Hands, we haven't been able to take our ears off the incredible genre-bending sounds of Brandon Locher. So we're chuffed to bits to present this month's mixtape, kindly curated by Locher himself. The multimedia artist and producer from Pennsylvania brings us a mix chock full of fine tracks, including an excerpt of his very own revisited version of the magistral sound piece 'Conversations'.

June is upon us, and with a new month comes a very special batch of tunes picked by one of our favourite bands, Piano Interrupted. The London based duo-turned-quartet enticed us with their lush cinematic soundscapes blending beguilingly classical arrangements and electronics. They spontaneously brought an interesting twist to our mixtape by presenting the tracks in a chronological order, from the oldest to the most recent. So strap yourself in for a journey through time and music.
From the heart of Oakland, CA, comes a pacemaker of a man, Sam Ospovat, a tremendous drummer and percussionist with his finger in many pies. This month, as PIKI, his solo project incarnation, he cooked for us a mixtape filled with fresh, local ingredients, topped with some American staples and a sweet European icing. Bon appétit!
