Today sees the release of Camembert, the new EP from Los Angeles based saxophonist, producer and artist Brian Allen Simon under his moniker Anenon. Musically, Camembert is informed by an array of genres that includes jazz, classical, ambient and electronica. The EP “exudes the range in expression and breadth of talent that Simon represents, touching on jazz improvisation, techno and palatial ambient over its four tracks without ever seeming to lose focus”, describes the album’s blurb.
Camembert precedes Petrol, Anenon’s third full-length album, which will be released in early 2016 via Friends of Friends.
