The long awaited self-titled debut album from United Sounds of Joy arrives this Friday through Bronzerat. Former Dream City Film Club collaborators Michael J Sheehy and Alex Vald, who make up the outfit, first grabbed our ears last summer with the wonderful and velvety ‘The Sun That Hides A Darker Star’. With the album’s imminent release rapidly approaching, the pair have unveiled the beautiful and ethereal second single ‘I Hear Her Call My Name’, and they are offering it with a self-directed video.
