We’re only in September but there’s already exciting news of records slated for a 2016 release. One in particular caught our ears – Moonlit Bang Bang, the upcoming album from five piece Phall Fatale, who have just signed to Slowfoot Records . The group comprises Joy Frempong (OY, Filewile) and Joana Aderi (Sissy Fox, Eiko) on vocals, keyboards and electronics, John Edwards (Robert Wyatt, Mulatu Astatke) and Daniel Sailer (Frachter, Pol) doubling on double bass and drummer Fredy Studer (Koch-Schütz-Studer, Doran-Stucky-Studer-Tacuma etc.).
The album arrives on January 15th but they are already enticing us with the first single ‘The Girl, The Beat’, and it comes with a super fashionable video.
