Last month, we fell completely for the utterly beautiful, enchanting and absorbing ‘Cow With Half Moon Parasol’, the first single lifted from HUG’s upcoming self-titled debut album. HUG is the new trio of Devendra Banhart, Gyan Riley and Noah Georgeson, who have known each other and crossed paths in various configurations over the years, even decades. There is still a long wait for the album to drop on September 11th through Luaka Bop, but HUG are enticing us again with the stunning and celestial ‘Catatumbo’. The track features a loop that Noah and Devendra created twenty years ago, when they were living together in Venice Beach. ‘Catatumbo’ is offered with a visualizer and you can watch it below.
