Skeleton$ unveil new video for ‘Success’ off latest album Am I Home?
New York based stalwarts Skeleton$, the revolving ensemble of musicians around Chicago native composer, songwriter and filmmaker Matt Mehlan, released their ninth album, the tremendous Am I Home?, earlier this year.
Currently on tour across Europe in support of the new album, Skeleton$ have unveiled a new video for ‘Success’, a marvellous and shimmering track embodying jazz and pop experimental sensibilities in over 9 minutes. The video was edited by Matt using old footage shot by his family. Watch it now.
Am I Home? is out now via Altin Village & Mine in Europe and via Shinkoyo in North America.
Mixtape #70 by Za!
Spazzfrica Ehd (drums/keyboards/vocals) and Papa duPau (guitar/trumpet/samples/vocals) are the restless pair behind the experimental punk outfit Za!. Hailing from Barcelona, their euphorically inventive music defies conventions, seamlessly blending so many different genres that we would quickly run out of space trying to list them here. And the good thing is we don't have to since this month's mixtape, put together by the band, is probably the best illustration of the duo's far flung influences and disregard for boundaries.
