The video was directed by Adam Newport-Berra, and features beautiful landscapes and views shot in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
We've fallen for Winnipeg's six-piece ensemble Royal Canoe and their unique rhythm, joyful tunes and energetic live performance a long time ago. So we've asked them to soundtrack the month of August for us, and befittingly, they came up with a summery feast. Dirty Projectors have just released a video for ‘Offspring Are Blank’, from their outstanding album Swing Lo Magellan. The video features footage from ‘Hi Custodian‘, their short film written and directed by frontman Dave Longstreth.
The band also announced they will release a limited edition Offspring Are Blank 7″ backed by a new song titled ‘There’s a Fire’. This release will be a white label pressing, available exclusively at their Carnegie Hall show on January 11th.

As the year draws to a close, we picked our favourite Albums of 2012
It’s only been a couple of months since Brooklyn based sextet Dirty Projectors released their brilliant sixth studio album Swing Lo Magellan, and they have just announced its follow up with a new four-track EP entitled About To Die. The EP includes the title track, taken from Swing Lo Magellan, and another three unreleased tracks.
About To Die drops on November 5th in the UK and a day later in the US via Domino, and it will be available on vinyl and digitally.
