Phantogram’s mini LP

Phantogram

Phantogram released Nightlife last month (Nov 1st) on Seattle’s label Barsuk Records.
The 6-track EP, or mini LP as they prefer to call it, follows their acclaimed debut album Eyelid Movies, which they toured relentlessly for over a year and a half.
The electronic pop duo from Saratoga Springs, NY consisting of Sarah Barthel (Vocals/ Keys/ Samples) and John Carter (Guitar/ Vocals/ Samples) wrote Nightlife whilst touring between hotels and clubs.
‘Don’t Move’ is the 1st single taken from Nightlife, a bright and hypnotic upbeat track with the opposite effect from its title.
The mini album leaves us wanting more and whilst we wait for another full length album, listen to the single here:

Sleigh Bells back with Reign Of Terror

Weird noise pop duo Sleigh Bells posted a trailer last night on a new website for their upcoming album Reign Of Terror, which will be the follow up to their 2010 debut album Treats.
In an interview to Rolling Stone earlier in the year, Sleigh Bells’ guitarist Derek E Miller said “the new stuff differs from Treats in that emotionally, it is a really heavy record”.
Reign Of Terror will be out early 2012 but there is no set release date yet.

But hold on, there’s more and November goes down as a jubilant month for The New Lines and their fans. They just dropped a new EP yesterday on the tape label Moon Glyph.
