Errors tease again with a free track to download ahead of new album

Scottish quartet Errors are releasing their much anticipated third full-length album. Have Some Faith In Magic drops on January 30th via Rock Action Records.
‘Magna Encarta’, the second track from the forthcoming album, had already been released last April with a shiny video embedded below.
‘Pleasure Palaces’ is the new single due out on January 23rd as a 500 limited 7″. The single release includes the exclusive b-side ‘Auberchute Flyer’. You can pre-order it now here.

Errors are giving us another taste from the new album with ‘Earthscore’, a new track that comes as a free download via their website.

Have Some Faith in Magic includes vocals for the first time. The 4 piece had already included voices using vocoders in their How Clean Is Your Acid House? EP back in 2006. This is though the first time they are treating vocals like another instrument.

To coincide with album release, Errors will do a full tour of the UK in February. Check all the dates here.

Air unveil official video for new track from forthcoming album

French duo Air had announced last November the release of their 7th studio album entitled Le Voyage Dans La Lune.
Air were originally commissioned to compose an original soundtrack to the recently restored and colourised 1902 iconic silent film ‘Le Voyage Dans La Lune’ by French filmmaker George Méliès.

Le Voyage Dans La Lune which translates to A Trip To The Moon is an acclaimed film based on the popular novels ‘From the Earth to the Moon’ by Jules Verne and ‘The First Men In The Moon’ by H. G. Wells. The 16-minute film was the first to feature science fiction as a theme.

The soundtrack to the short film turned into a full length album and it will be out on February 6th in Europe and February 7th in the rest of the world via Astralwerks.

Le Voyage Dans La Lune features vocal collaborators Victoria Legrand of Beach House and Au Revoir Simone.

Seven Stars (featuring Victoria Legrand) was the first single to be released last December.

Air unveiled yesterday the official video for another new track entitled ‘Sonic Armada (A Trip To The Moon)’. It features clips from the restored and colourised film and you can watch it here.

1,2,3 start off the year with new free lullaby EP

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania electro rock duo 1, 2, 3 started off the year with the release of a new free EP entitled Dreamland PT.1 (For Daisy).

The 5-track lullaby EP was originally intended for vocalist/ songwriter/ guitarist Nic Snyder’s baby niece Daisy but Nic decided to let everyone hear it for free.

Com Truise premieres new video for ‘VHS Sex’

New Jersey designer and musician Seth Haley, better known for one of his many pseudonyms Com Truise, premiered last Friday the official video for ‘VHS Sex’. ‘VHS Sex’ is the second track from Com Truise’s debut full-length album Galactic Melt released this summer (June 14th) via Ghostly International.

The video featuring a collage of 80’s and 90’s footage was directed by Marta Giec.

Nedry offer two new tracks from upcoming somophore album

London based trio Nedry announced the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut album Condors. In a Dim Light will be released on March 12th via Monotreme Records. Nedry’s somophore album will be available digitally, on cd and also as a 500 limited 180gm vinyl edition.

‘Post Six’ and ‘Float’ are two brand new tracks from In a Dim Light which you can now stream/download.
