Polinski’s new single release in January

PolinskiPolinski, the solo project of Paul Wolinksi who is also one quarter of 65daysofstatic, is releasing ‘AWaltzOfLight’ on January 16th as a charity single.
‘AWaltzOfLight’ is the closing track from Polinski’s debut album Labyrinths released a couple of months ago (October 31st) via Monotreme Records. The version set to be released is the original one and according to Polinski it’s less noisy than the edited and rearranged version that ended up on the album.
The digital single is now available to pre-order here. All proceeds will be donated to a charity.

Leila’s new album due out in January

LeilaElectronic producer Leila is releasing U&I on January 23rd via Warp. This will be the fourth album from the Iranian born and London based artist who is also know for collaborating with the likes of Björk and Aphex Twin.

‘(disappointed cloud) anyway’ is the first single from U&I and it features vocals from Berlin based producer Mt Sims. You can pre-order the album now here.

Luke Abbott’s Brazil gets visual treatment ahead of EP release

LukeAbbottMore than a year after Luke Abbott‘s debut album Holkham Drones came out, the last single ‘Brazil’ is well matured and about to drop in stores on Monday December 19th via Border Community. The Brazil EP includes remixes from Gold Panda and Etienne Jaumet. ‘Grumble’ is a new track also included in the EP.

Tennis’ somophore album out in February

Denver-based group Tennis will release their much anticipated second album Young & Old on February 13th in the UK via ATP Recordings and February 14th in the US via Fat Possum Records.

The group comprising couple Patrick Riley and Alaine Moore and drummer James Barone recorded their somophore album in Nashville with the help of producer Patrick Corney.

The first single ‘Origins’ was out digitally on December 6th as a double A-side release and it also includes self-produced bonus new track ‘Deep in the Woods’.
