Clark teases new album Iradelphic with free new lead single ‘Com Touch’

clark-iradelphic

Last time we heard from Clark,  he released Totem Flare. That was back in 2009.

For the last three years he’s been travelling and recording his  sixth full-length album entitled Iradelphic.
The forthcoming album was recorded in Australia, Berlin, Wales, Brussels, Cornwall, Norway and London.

“I don’t think I’ve ever recorded in so many diverse locations; there was a lot of field recording going on in Snape, Sussex, harpsichords and orchestral drums. All recorded with a variety of tools. From £8k Cold War microphones, bling studio set ups, to laptop microphones, crumbling cassettes, Dictaphones. It all got used.” says Clark about his adventures that led to the album. The electronic genius describes Iradelphic as “looming, ambiguous, radiant, glowing, whole, invincible, complete”.

The album includes collaborations with Bibio and Martina Topley Bird who sings in two tracks featured in Iradelphic.

Iradelphic is due out on April 2nd in the UK and a day later in the US via Warp.

Clark unveiled the lead single ‘Com Touch’. Listen to it below and download it free here.
