Brighton’s Fujiya & Miyagi are back with a new album, the follow-up to 2011’s Ventriloquizzing. The yet-to-be-titled effort is set to be released this Spring via Yep Roc.
The threesome have shared the album’s first single, a galvanizing track aptly called ‘Tetrahydrofolic Acid’. According to the label, this track “hints at the future direction of the band’s upcoming album”. We’ll keep our ears peeled for updates. Now take a listen to ‘Tetrahydrofolic Acid’.

Sisyphus premiere video for second single ‘Alcohol’

Last month we heard the first single from Sisyphus‘ upcoming self-titled debut album. Now the collaborative project of Sufjan Stevens, Serengeti and Son Lux, formerly known as s / s / s, are rolling out another mind-blowing cut off the album, ‘Alcohol’, in the form of a video featuring a multitude of random pictures. I’ve listened to ‘Alcohol’ well over a dozen times. Here it is.


Sisyphus will be released on March 18th via Asthmatic Kitty and Joyful Noise Recordings.

New collective Kimono Kult announce debut EP release

Hiding in the Light is the debut EP from new Los Angeles based project Kimono Kult. The outfit is a supergroup of sorts, comprising former Red Hot Chili Pepper’s member John Frusciante, Mars Volta’s Omar Rodríguez-López and Bosnian Rainbows’ Teri Gender Bender and also Nicole Turley, Dante White and Laena Geronimo. Slated for a March 3rd release via Neurotic Yell Records, Hiding In The Light is described as “four songs of electro/dub/afro-beat/avant-freak/jazz-like conversations of instrumental ecstasy”.
The EP’s closing track ‘La Cancion de Alexandra’ is now available to stream. Check it out below.

Little Dragon share first single from forthcoming Nabuma Rubberband

Just last week, Swedish quartet Little Dragon got us salivating with a teaser trailer for their much-anticipated fourth album Nabuma Rubberband. The trailer featured a short snippet of one of the songs from the album, ‘Klapp Klapp’. The full track has just been unveiled and if it is anything to go by, Little Dragon’s upcoming album will be refreshingly excellent. Give ‘Klapp Klapp’ a listen now.

Nabuma Rubberband is set to be released on May 12th in the UK via Because Music and May 13th in the US via Loma Vista Recordings.
