Muralismo share new taste from forthcoming debut album

Muralismo

San Francisco based outfit Muralismo, made up of Mark David Ashworth, Tristan Arnold, Taylor Jacobs, Shaun Lowecki, Ines Beltranena and Anthony Andersonare, are set to release their self-titled debut album on July 9th. Muralismo features 8 tracks of what they befittingly describe as “organic dense dark electric chamber folk rock love songs” and was recorded entirely to analog tape taking “listeners beyond the frustrations of digital life and into a world where stories are told in slowly-layered sonic brushstrokes”. Mark David Ashworth and James Riotto co-produced the effort.
Muralismo recently dropped the album’s first single ‘Wild Eyed Friend’, a beautiful and romantic song. They have just unleashed another cut from the upcoming album, ‘Still Life’, in the form of a video. In the words of Ashworth, “the song is an abstract tale about love, time, and domesticity” and the video “in a way it’s sort of an anti-video, almost documentary in style, but with a few psychedelic turns”. AM & Shawn Lee‘s irresistible second album La Musique Numerique came out to wide acclaim last month via Park The Van. The transatlantic duo have just started a US tour in support of the album, which they’ve aptly entitled Sounds of Summer Tour 2013. Head over here to check all their stops and more info.
To seduce everyone even more, AM & Shawn Lee are offering a tour EP as a free download via their bandcamp.

The Vickers - She's Lost

Psych rockers The Vickers hail from Florence, Italy, and consist of Andrea Mastropietro, Federico Sereni, Francesco Marchi and Marco Biagiotti.
Last month the foursome released their debut 7″ single ‘She’s Lost’, an hypnotic and funky cut which comes backed with the B-side ‘All I Need’.
The Vickers are also offering a fitting psychedelic video to compliment ‘She’s Lost’. Watch it now.

A couple of weeks ago, Sankt Otten enticed us with ‘Im Himmel angekommen’, taken from their forthcoming full-length album Messias Maschine. ‘Im Himmel angekommen’ features Ulrich Schnauss on synths and percussion, and alike this collaboration, Messias Maschine is glowing with quite a few other collaborations with pioneers of electronic and avantgarde music, including Maserati’s Coley Duane Dennis, Miles Brown and Harald Grosskopf. 75-year old drummer Jaki Liebezeit of the legendary CAN has also collaborated with Stephan Otten and Oliver Klemm on three tracks from the album, including ‘Das große Weinen ist vorbei’, which makes its way to us with a visual accompaniment.
